Flood Rescue Training updates

Life-saving & Rescue Operation in Surface Water ( Flood Rescue )


Objective  : Learning of practical application of techniques for rescue operation in

water .


Duration   :  4  weeks Training


A batch ( no. 91) comprising 40 nos. trainees from National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Bns. 01, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07 & 10 successfully completed training on 6th December 2014 . On the said date, all the Institute trainers and also the Sr. Instructor ,  Sri Tapas Chowdhury met the trainees in the Institute premises.  The trainees expressed that they had highly appreciated the mode of training and they had learnt a lot of meaningful techniques in life saving under the grave situations caused by flood as well as tidal water. The aforesaid batch no. 91 had two groups i.e. Group A & group B. Badges were given to the best performance of each group . The training certificates were forwarded to the NDRF Hq.
